09:10 AM - 09:35 AM Keynote: What Does Hollywood Know About Loyalty In The eTail Space Anyway?

Marc Rashba, VP, Sony Pictures Entertainment
• eCommerce is moving faster than Baby Driver escaping from a bank heist
• Just like Spider-man, e-tailers need to swing into action to keep consumers engaged and loyal
• It’s more than a game and there’s alot on the line, like the stakes in Jumanji

Connecting to the consumer is more critical than ever today. The eTail space has been enjoying fantastic growth but the consumer proposition has to go beyond just convenience and price. Others have been here before, but were unable to continue their relevance with consumers. Establishing the right consumer relationship is paramount. eTailers must do more to earn loyalty with today’s online shopper. We will share some insights in this presentation to ensure eTailing’s future remains bright.

Some of the learning objectives will be:

• Understanding why loyalty matters
• Hearing about some key strategies that are working with others right now
• What eTailers can do short-term and long-term to build loyalty

09:35 AM - 10:10 AM Keynote Panel Discussion Remix: Reviewing The Changing Email Landscape To Better Personalize Your Program

Scott Drayer, Vice President, Marketing, Paul Fredrick Menstyle, Inc Jamie Braxton, Marketing Manager, US-Mattress
Personalization is becoming a pre-requisite for retailers across all channels, but with the amount of retailers competing for inbox attention, it is especially critical for email. Research shows that conversion rates are more than 5x higher with a personalized recommendation in email, so how can you continue to improve? Hear how brands across different verticals are achieving new levels of personalization. Discuss:

Sending more individual emails that are triggered
Looking at your service provider to be able to provide personalized emails
Looking at a new generation of providers if necessary to assist with your personalization efforts
Looking at triggered integrated campaigns (SMS, app notifications, retargeting campaigns, etc.)

Janine Somers, Director of Marketing and Direct to Consumer Sales, Stonewall Kitchen Myles Peacock, CEO, CreativeDrive
Across all channels retailers are experimenting with providing different types of content for their customers aside from promotion-focused campaigns. Emails are especially getting more creative. Explore new content ideas for email that will differentiate your brand and engage your customers. Panelists will discuss ideas for:

Examining alternative types of content generation (outside of blogs, etc.) to integrate into your email program
Using UGC in the best way possible (how to best use what your customers are already giving you)
Using content to drive click-throughs (not just opens)
Training your customers to engage with your content, even if that doesn’t lead to a sale every time
