Brett Bone is the Vice President of Strategic Planning at Simple Modern, a category-leading designer and distributor of insulated drinkware and other lifestyle products. He leads the company’s FP&A, Technology, Demand Planning, and Licensing teams, helping guide strategic decisions across a complex omnichannel business that spans Amazon, Direct-to-Consumer, mass retail, and wholesale. As an early team member and partner in the business since 2018, Brett has played a critical role in scaling Simple Modern from a $10 million Amazon-native brand to a profitable, $200+ million omnichannel company with 6,000+ SKUs and national distribution in retailers like Target and Walmart. He brings deep expertise in financial and operational planning, S&OP, forecasting, and merchandising, with a particular focus on aligning data and strategy to enable growth. Before joining Simple Modern, Brett worked in real estate and consumer investing, where he developed a foundational understanding of brand-building and business fundamentals. He holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
