John Wise

Co-Founder & COO Lovepop

John Wise is the co-founder and COO of Lovepop, a design company on a mission to create one billion magical moments. Trained as a naval architect at Webb Institute, John began his career designing and engineering high-speed aluminum boats, including the U.S. Coast Guard RB-S II which can be found in harbors across the US today. John earned his MBA at Harvard Business School where he and co-founder Wombi Rose were inspired by paper art on a trip to Vietnam, leading to the founding of Lovepop. A Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree for arts and style, John oversees company operations, product design, finance, and people, with a particular focus on building Lovepop's world-class team in Vietnam across design, technology, supply chain, and production. He lives in Cambridge, MA with his wife and two kids, and whenever possible, finds his way back to the outdoors and the water.
