Kent Phillips has focused the last 20 years on successfully building industry-leading direct-to-consumer businesses in highly competitive industries. His current role is Vice President of Marketing Operations and Business Intelligence for SmartPak Equine, the nation's largest online equestrian retailer.  At SmartPak he owns the P&L of all direct-to-consumer marketing and provides key business insights to drive the business forward.  Previous to SmartPak, Kent was Director of the Online Business at Liberty Medical, the nation’s largest direct-to-consumer provider of diabetes testing supplies.  He drove the internet business at Liberty from inception to the largest, and most profitable, customer acquisition channel in a $1.3B market cap direct marketing company. Prior to his role at Liberty, Kent made the transition from industrial engineering to digital advertising and online software development as a key member of two startups in the Boston area.
