Chief of Staff, Marketing Overstock

Maquel Shaw is the Chief of Staff for Overstock.com’s marketing department, where she is responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of processes across the e-commerce leader’s various marketing channels. Shaw joined Overstock in 2010 and has also served as the company’s Director of International Marketing, Director of Loyalty, and Director of Market Partnerships. In addition to her roles at Overstock, Shaw is a former Vice President of Marketing for Utah First Credit Union.

Shaw’s years of expertise as a leader in marketing and business strategy allow her to efficiently target audiences on local, national, and global scales while maintaining fiscal responsibility within a variety of budgetary constraints. Additionally, her deep experience in branding, offline and online advertising, email marketing, search, loyalty, and affiliate programs provides her the background needed to conceptualize, create, and execute collaborative projects across multiple internal channels and partnerships with top external marketing and e-commerce companies.
