Matt Fischer is the Vice President of Operations at Shop Premium Outlets, a premium and luxury marketplace focused on sale, clearance and outlet products. Shop Premium Outlets is a joint venture between Rue Gilt Groupe (RGG) and Simon Property Group. Matt joined Rue Gilt Groupe in 2013 and was appointed to his current position in 2020. In his role, he leads the teams responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and developing new solutions to help brand partners sell using the Shop Premium Outlets marketplace model. During his tenure with RGG, he has led over ten marketplaces that have helped the company become a leading off-price e-commerce portfolio company. Prior to RGG, Matt held leadership roles in business technology management, operations, and customer experience at Avid Technology, IBM and Accenture. He holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
