Sebastian Pflumm is Vice President of Search & Discovery at Furniture.com, where he oversees the technologies and experiences that help consumers discover, navigate, and shop across the company's platform, including Dottie, Furniture.com's AI-powered design agent. He also serves as Head of Finance & Operations.

Before joining Furniture.com, Pflumm spent nearly nine years at McKinsey & Company, advising retail, consumer, and technology companies on growth strategy, merchandising, pricing, analytics, and digital transformation.

His experience spans ecommerce, home furnishings, apparel, grocery, and consumer technology. Throughout his career, Pflumm has focused on helping companies better understand how consumers discover products, make purchasing decisions, and respond to evolving market dynamics.

Pflumm holds an MBA from UC Berkeley and a Master's degree in Banking & Finance from University of St. Gallen.
