Sharon M. Leite currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Vitamin Shoppe and is a member of its Board of Directors. Sharon is leading the turnaround and reinvention of the Brand as it becomes a multi-channel retailer in health and wellness. The Vitamin Shoppe today is an Omni-channel specialty retailer in vitamins, supplements and sports nutrition, with over 750 stores and an e-commerce business. The company is rapidly expanding into wholesale, international and services. The Vitamin Shoppe is publicly traded on the NYSE as VSI.

 Prior to The Vitamin Shoppe, she was the President of the Americas for Godiva Chocolatier. Godiva leads the premium chocolate category with over 750 stores worldwide and has a presence in more than 100 countries around the globe.  She led the turnaround of one of the largest markets and was responsible for all channels. 

Prior to joining Godiva, Ms. Leite was the President of Sally Beauty, US and Canada, an international specialty retailer and distributor of professional beauty products, with over 3,000 doors.  Prior to Sally Beauty, she spent over 8 years at Pier 1 Imports as the EVP of Sales, Customer Experience and Real Estate.

 In addition, Ms. Leite has held various leadership roles at Bath and Body Works (LBrands), Gap Inc. and the The Walt Disney Company. 

 She currently serves on the Tandy Leather Board of Directors, Northwestern University’s Retail Analytics Council, the Board of Performing Arts Fort Worth and the Board of the Neeley Business School at Texas Christian University.
