Simon Belsham

President Jet.com

Simon’s career has been focused on unlocking the opportunities of technology and retail amidst evolving customer behaviors. Prior to his role as President of Jet.com, Simon was CEO of the VC-backed online marketplace notonthehighstreet.com that connected 5000 of the UK’s best small creative businesses with customers around the world. There, he led the business through significant growth and a successful Series E fundraise. Prior to notonthehighstreet.com, much of Simon’s career has been spent in grocery retail both on and offline. 

In 2003, Simon joined Tesco and over the next seven years led a variety of projects developing the operating model for the UK business. This time also included a year where he was Store Manager of one of the UK's largest hypermarkets. In 2010, he joined Ocado as Director of Non-Food with responsibility for building general merchandise platforms to link in with Ocado’s home delivery network (the first of which was pet business fetch.co.uk). 

Simon re-joined Tesco in June 2013 as Managing Director of Grocery Home Shopping leading the business in the UK and 10 countries across Europe and Asia. Ultimately, he become Online Director in January 2015 with accountability for all online businesses in the Tesco group.
