Susy Schoneberg is founder and head of Flexport.org, Flexport’s sustainability and social good initiative that works with nonprofits who need to ship goods to areas of needs, companies who have excess goods to donate, and companies looking to cut carbon emissions from their shipping. Since founding the organization, Flexport.org has unlocked 20-25% savings on international transportation costs for nonprofits and prevented more than 2.9 million pounds of landfill waste. Before Flexport, Susy spent time as a social worker in Germany, co-founded and lead SocialForce, a startup focused on technology’s impact on society, and worked on business analysis and corporate strategy at Deutsche Bahn. Susy holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a B.S. in Economist from Humboldt University of Berlin.
