Kevin is a mathematician by training and has been using data to gain insights into business operations and customer behavior for over 12 years.  He has worked in a wide range of industries, from valuing and trading complex financial derivatives to scientific based cooking techniques to ecommerce.  He spent six years in the US Navy operating shipboard nuclear reactors before moving on to obtain undergraduate degrees in mathematics and electrical engineering from the University of Washington and a PhD in mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin.  Kevin lives in Seattle with his two old dogs and spends his free time in the Cascade mountains snowboarding and climbing.
