Sergei Ostapenko

Sergei is the owner and CEO of Mira Commerce, a leading digital commerce agency from California. He is an experienced digital transformation executive, ecommerce technology expert, and a hands-on strategic leader. His work and intellectual contribution have influenced some of the world’s best-known global businesses, agencies and brands.

Sergei spent over 30 years in professional IT & digital marketing services, enterprise-level operations and corporate finance, holding senior international roles at Microsoft, Avon Cosmetics, AIG, The Coca-Cola Company, and Arthur Andersen.

Prior to taking over Mira Commerce, he has built a successful web development agency focusing on emerging ecommerce technologies; in 2017 he sold the company to Valtech global marketing agency and led Valtech’s Ecommerce practice in the US. Sergei is a regular speaker at Ecommerce industry events in Europe and North America, he trains and coaches sales and project delivery teams at major global IT and retail organizations.

In response to the war in Ukraine, Sergei has founded Mira Action Inc. - a California-based nonprofit organization that buys and delivers ambulances, medicines, and humanitarian supplies to Ukraine hospitals, raising over $1.3m to-date. A team of 20+ volunteers located in California, Poland, and Ukraine run logistics and delivery supply routes and work with hospitals in Central and Eastern Ukraine.
